Bula Vinaka

In 2016 salon owners and therapists all around Australia met up in Fiji to experience the Pure Fiji culture. It was great to be back home and experience Fiji the "tourist" way!!  

Not only did we get product knowledge & hands on training; we also had the chance of visiting the Home/Factory of Pure Fiji in Suva. Visiting Galoa village was truly a highlight; being welcomed the traditional way - Kava ceremony and of course the Bula Smiles 😍 with lots of singing and dancing 🤗 was rare to see women preparing Kava but as the turanga-ni-koro said that they are moving with time and are giving equal opportunities to women as men in their village! How great is that?!

It was an emotional journey and a refresher of cultural knowledge and tradition of my people. As I keep saying I am a Proud Fijian and am proud to be a part of Pure Fiji who truly believes in making a difference and giving back to the community.
